French Customs has decided to create a Large Accounts Department (Service Grands Comptes - SGC) for major international trade groups (typically 75% of national centralized customs flow).

Starting in 2016, the SGC is the single point of contact for large companies in order to ensure speedy, efficient and suited procedures.

Operators can thus receive advice and enjoy personalized follow-ups in filing and issuance of permits related to customs clearance, as well as processing their flow. Their transactions will receive a uniformed treatment taking into account their specific needs.
